Swellable microneedles (SMNs) are made of hydrogels and can deliver drug with controlled delivery rate by the cross-link density of the hydrogel. In this study, an acryl resin-based SMNs was developed for poorly water-soluble drugs. The making process of the SMNs is very simple and only need 60?min. The SMNs has high mechanical strength and is not easily broken. In-vitro release of SMNs-loaded model drug, granisetron base (GRB), was investigated. The results showed that seven days controlled release of GRB was obtained when SMNs contained pore-foaming agents (1.5% dicalcium phosphate (CaHPO4) and 1.5% polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)). The maximum amount delivered into skin was 86.158?±?7.82% of the initial GRB (2.1?mg) loaded on SMNs preparation. Pharmacokinetics study in rats indicated a dose-dependent profile of plasma GRB concentrations and that the controlled release of 2.1?mg dose was observed for 144?hours. In conclusion, these SMNs provided a potential minimally invasive route for controlled-release systemic delivery of poorly water-soluble drugs. 相似文献

A series of methacrylate-acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (MABS) resins was prepared using bulk polymerization. The polarity of the continuous phase and the compatibility of two phases were changed by adjusting the methyl methacrylate (MMA) content, choosing values that were close to styrene-butadiene rubber solubility value. The possibility of controlling the microstructure of the MABS resin by changing the polarity of the components and the compatibility of two phases was assessed. The dynamic mechanical analysis shows that the compatibility of two phases varies with the MMA content. The morphological analysis shows that increasing MMA contents results in a gradual decrease in the sub-inclusion structure with a network skeleton of rubber particles, and that all the particles become solid rubber when the MMA content reaches 75%. The sub-inclusion structure reappears but does not have a network skeleton when the MMA content is 90%. The impact strength and morphological analysis indicate that the solid rubber particles and the sub-inclusion structure with a network skeleton provide excellent toughness, while the sub-inclusion structure without a network skeleton does not. Digital light processing (DLP) has been studied and developed in the field of three-dimensional (3D) printing in recent years due to its fast curing rate and high resolution. To reduce the cost and viscosity of the resin system, the aromatic polyurethane acrylates (PUAs) were used as oligomer. The matrix resin called PUH2 consists of oligomers (PUA, bisphenol A polyoxyethylene ether dimethyl acrylate) and active diluents (hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate). However, the photosensitive resin containing aromatic isocyanate groups was easily yellowed under ultraviolet light. In this article, we developed a resin for DLP 3D printing with yellowing resistance, excellent mechanical properties and high heat resistance. The optimal ratio of 3DP-PUH2 resin was PUH2/TPO/RYOJI-292/dye/nanosilica = 100/5/0.4/0.01/0.1, and its viscosity was 500 cp, which is suitable for DLP 3D printing. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Alkyd resins are generally used in the production of printing inks. All industries look for alternative raw materials in the production of ink with the growing inclination toward using natural products. Resins forming the vehicle of the ink to be obtained from natural resources will provide benefits for the environment, nature, and living creatures. The aim of the study was to promote the use of natural resin in the ink system. Natural Pinus pinaster resin was added into vegetable and mineral oil-based solvents in pure form with alkyd resin in different amounts and ink varnishes of different combinations were prepared. Then, printing inks were produced from these varnishes in pure and hybrid form. Following the assessment of the rheological properties of the inks prepared, printing tests were conducted to assess the printing quality parameters. Ideal mixing ratios of the natural resins in the ink were determined for printability. The environmental importance and advantages of the use of natural resins were discussed. Recommendations were given in line with the results to encourage widespread use of natural resins in near future. 相似文献

The manufacture of composite structures is inevitably linked to the formation of voids. Several non-destructive techniques are potentially able of detecting defects, but just the exact knowledge of the effects of defects on the mechanical properties allows the definition of thresholds for the purpose of quality management. In this paper an experimental program for characterizing the effect of voids on the composite materials behaviour is presented. Therefore glass fibre non-crimp fabric reinforced epoxy composites were produced using vacuum assistant resin transfer moulding. For obtaining various void contents specially modified process parameters were used. Nominally defect free specimens are compared with flawed specimens. Butanediol initiated poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) has recently been reported as a toughening agent for cationically curing cycloaliphatic epoxides providing plasticized thermosets with excellent properties (Lützen et al., 2013). In this contribution that promising toughening approach was applied for the first time for the development of novel natural fiber composites (NFC). NFCs based on conventional brittle thermosetting polymers often suffer from poor interfacial adhesion and stress cracking. Composites made up of the novel plasticized thermosets and woven flax fiber preserved the elastomer-like properties and increased tensile strength and elongation at break up to 60 MPa and 5%, respectively. Furthermore, PCL was shown not only to toughen the epoxide but also to modulate the affinity of the matrix to the fiber. In conclusion, improved interfacial adhesion and the resulting excellent mechanical properties of cationically curable NFCs were achieved by both interfacial crystallization and affinity. 相似文献
